As the only private university in the Rocky Mountain region to attain R1 distinction for our research, we are shaping our research enterprise to anticipate the future of scientific exploration, positively and audaciously impacting issues from climate change to health and species evolution.
Reimagining the Future Through the Stem Horizons Facility
Your gift will allow NSM to establish new labs and teaching spaces, integrating and significantly expanding our efforts to reimagine the future of health and work and the impact of global change. Funding will extend our academic tracks to include critical areas like physiology in health and disease. We will also be able to offer students better environments and technological tools to learn how to pursue knowledge and to measure impacts in areas like urban planning, human health and the environment.
Recruiting a Highly Talented, Diverse Student Body in Strategic Academic Areas
Funding for endowed student scholarships will empower us to recruit and retain outstanding students with potential to become science- and math-literate leaders, regardless of socioeconomic background. Philanthropy will create opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral research, broadening the candidate pools for STEM tenure track opportunities and creating opportunities for international experience.
Advancing Faculty Research and Educational Innovation
Financial support will enable us to provide competitive compensation and professional development packages, expanding the depth and breadth of our research and allowing us to endow chairs across three core disciplines and seed four faculty research fellowships.
